Monaco on the world caviar podium
On 6 November 2025 the Yacht Club de Monaco hosted the World Caviar Awards, the world championship of caviar, bringing together the leading houses of some twenty countries.
A double first prize: Sevruga and Sterlet
Held under the high patronage of Princess Yasmine Murat, the competition ran under the strictest conditions: a blind tasting, behind closed doors, following the « à la royale » method, no bread, no lemon, no cream, so that only the product spoke.
Pakoff carried off two first prizes, on two caviars with opposite profiles: the iodine intensity of the Sevruga and the delicate finesse of the Sterlet.
